Pretty Pen Jen began in 2003 while I began planning my own wedding, but my calligraphy story started thirteen years before. My mother purchased simple calligraphy pens with an instruction manual to fulfill a handwriting requirement at school. Calligraphy contains a perfect blend of art and tradition, two things I love, and I quickly took to lettering. After completing my workbook, I began experimenting with different pens and creating new fonts. I currently use dip inks and sometimes a fountain pen. All of my work is done by hand Details make an event memorable, and I'm thrilled to work with clients for the purpose of scattering their event with fine touches.
